I am so excited to start a blog on what I'm most passionate about - productivity tools and helping others be more efficient with the technology they are able to use. Working with information technology in higher education has allowed me great insight on productivity tools and I am deeply passionate about teaching others how to make their courses and lectures innovative and interactive.
On a personal note, I am 24 years old and live in Metro Detroit. I work at Wayne State University and am hopeful to graduate from the MLIS program in December 2014. I am getting married on October 5, 2013 and am so excited to start this new and exciting chapter in my life! I come from a pretty large family - I have 3 brothers, a sister, a sister-in-law, an 11 year-old niece, an 8 year-old nephew (who is my godson, too!), and a soon-to-be sister in law. I will be also be gaining a sister and brother (in-law) in October. Expansion of a family is always fun :-) I love concerts, scrapbooking, the Detroit Red Wings, cooking / baking, and I cannot get enough of running - I just ran my first half marathon in April 2013 and plan on doing the Detroit Free Press half this October and am hopeful of the full Detroit Free Press marathon in 2014. Fingers crossed!
